Me Scuba diving.
It all started with my holiday in Kenya just after Christmas this year. It was a prize I won with my summer job and 85 of us went!

On the Wednesday we had the chance of a free try at scuba diving in the hotel pool. It's quite a strange experience breathing under water but it went well and a few of us decided to try the real thing.

So we spent an afternoon training on how to control going up and down in water, fliping the flippers and surviving if your air runs out! Then the next morning, nice and early while the tide was in, we had a go in the sea. The photo at the top shows all 10 of us in the boat, ready to go. You know how you see the divers on TV fall into the sea backwards with all the gear on? Well we had to do that!

Flipper.

Some little fishes! :)
I think Kenya has got the 2nd largest coral reef in the world!
We spent about 45 minutes underwater, I found it a litttle scary, I've never been that confident underwater but it went well. You can see from all the other photos that there were plenty of little fish.
Oh, and obviously we brought one of those disposable underwater cameras! Brilliant photos...

Paul Currie!

Another little fish and funny wavey stuff.
It was a fantastic experience, I'd love to do it again some time.

Next time I go to Kenya! :)
